Der Mensch hat nicht nur die Fähigkeit, ein astronomisches Ereignis, wie z. B. eine Supernova zu beobachten und in erklär-ende Worte zu fassen, sondern hat sich auch den Prozess der Explosion zu eigen gemacht. In der fotografischen Arbeit "Supernova in my Hand" kollidieren gleich zwei chemische Prozesse miteinander. Zum einen die Explosion von Schwarzpulver und zum anderen die fotochemische Reaktion von Silberbromid, die es schafft eine Explosion direkt in ihrer Entstehung fotografisch festzuhalten.

Nur chemischen Prozessen wie diesen verdanken wir die reine Existenz von allem. So muten die Bilder wie ein Blick ins Universum an. Jedes so unterschiedlich wie ein Fingerabdruck.

Humans not only have the ability to perceive and observe astronomical events such as a supernova and put it into explanatory words, but has also made the process of the explosion his own. In the photographic work "Supernova in my Hand" two chemical processes collide with one another. On the one hand, the explosion of black powder and on the other hand, the photochemical reaction of silver bromide, which manages to capture an explosion photographically as it occurs.

We only owe the pure existence of everything to chemical processes like these. The images seem like a glimpse into the universe. Each one as different as a fingerprint.
